As a senior software engineer, you will work within cross-functional feature teams, which are part of broader engineering domains. You will have the autonomy to make platform decisions and provide insights to the rest of the team. You'll collaborate closely with other frontend, backend and fullstack engineers of varying experience levels and interests, helping to improve and develop our apps, backend services, build pipeline, and tooling. You'll be committing, reviewing, and shipping new code from your very first week!
What you bring to the table:
Technical skills
Experience with React Native Mobile development
Must have some experience building backend services at scale using different tech stacks
Strong understanding of modern development frameworks centered around Spring, Python, TypeScript, NodeJS, ReactNative, Android Native and iOS Native.
Proficiency in one of more programming languages out of Java, Kotlin, Typescript, Swift
Ability to work with AI in a safe structured environment.
Ability to work with tools like Grafana and Loki for debugging and fault finding.
Understanding of Bitrise, Firebase, Kubernetes, ArgoCD, AWS cloud and Terraform.

Project Overview
We’re seeking a Mid/Senior Laravel Developer to join our team and improve our core application; you’ll need 4+ years of PHP/Laravel experience, strong TDD and design-pattern skills (DTOs, SOLID), expertise in optimizing Eloquent/SQL queries, and comfort with Linux-based DevOps. This is a contract role with potential for a long-term engagement.
Responsibilities:
Architect, build, and maintain robust web applications using Laravel (10+)
Design and implement RESTful APIs, background jobs, and event-driven workflows
Write clean, testable code following best practices (TDD)
Author and maintain unit and feature tests, ensuring high coverage
Work with Data Transfer Objects (DTOs) and well-known design patterns (Repository, Service, etc.)

The expected salary range for this position is $85,000 USD to $120,000 USD annually. This salary range is an estimate, and the actual salary may vary based on the Company’s compensation practices. The salary may be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The position is also eligible to receive performance bonus or commission and equity in the form of restricted stock units. This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s standard employee benefits programs, which currently include health care benefits; (2) retirement benefits; (3) the amount of paid days off (paid sick leave, parental leave, paid time off, or vacation benefits); (4) any other tax-reportable benefits.
